4. Price and Payment

  • Payment Terms:
    • Payment is due immediately upon completion of the services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
    • Account customers must settle invoices within 7 days of completion.
  • Deposits:
    • A deposit of 40% may be required for specialist materials before ordering.
    • The remaining balance is payable upon completion of the work.
  • Variations: We reserve the right to adjust the price if:
    • Additional services or materials are required beyond the original scope.
    • Changes are made to the work at your request.
  • Late Payments:
    • Interest at a rate of 10% per annum may be charged on overdue payments.
    • You are responsible for any costs incurred in recovering overdue payments, including legal fees.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
  • Consumer Rights: You may cancel the contract within 14 days of entering into it, except where:
    • Services have been fully performed within this period.
    • You have requested urgent repairs or maintenance.
  • Cancellation Fees:
    • Emergency Services: If you cancel within 20 minutes of the technician's arrival, a fee equal to half the standard labour charge applies.
    • Non-Emergency Services: Cancelling less than 30 minutes before a scheduled appointment may incur a fee equal to the standard labour charge.
  • Exceptions: No cancellation fee will apply if:
    • We are unable to source required parts.
    • We cannot attend due to circumstances beyond our control, such as vehicle breakdown or force majeure events.
  • Refunds: If we fail to provide repair under our 12-month warranty, a full or partial refund will be issued within 14 working days of your request.

6. Your Obligations

7. Our Obligations
  • Professional Service: We will perform all services with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with industry standards.

  • Care for Property: Take reasonable steps to protect your property during the provision of services.
  • Waste Disposal: Manage and arrange the safe disposal of any waste materials generated.
  • Insurance: Maintain valid public liability insurance and necessary licenses.
8. Property Rights
  • Ownership: All materials supplied remain our property until full payment is received.
  • Risk: Risk in the materials passes to you upon delivery or installation.
9. Guarantee
  • Warranty Period: We guarantee our workmanship and materials for 12 months from the completion date.
  • Exclusions: This guarantee does not cover defects resulting from:
    • Misuse, neglect, or failure to follow our instructions.
    • Mechanical damage occurring after risk has passed to you.
    • Repairs or modifications carried out by others.
  • Claims: Defects must be reported within 7 days of discovery.
  • Payment Requirement: The guarantee is effective only after full payment is received.
10. Complaints Procedure
  • Procedure: Contact us by phone or in writing with your name, address, and details of your complaint.
  • Resolution: We aim to rectify genuine faults within 72 hours at no extra cost.
  • Escalation: If unresolved, please contact us again to further address your concerns.
11. Termination
  • By Us: We may terminate the contract if:
    • You breach any terms, including non-payment.
    • You become insolvent or cease operations.
  • By You: You may terminate the contract if:
    • We fail to perform our obligations under these Terms.
  • Consequences: Upon termination, all outstanding sums for work done up to that point become payable.
12. Liability
  • Limitation: We are not liable for:
    • Indirect or consequential losses.
    • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities.
  • Exclusions: Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
13. Force Majeure
  • Definition: We are not liable for delays or failures resulting from events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, or strikes.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
